Double the Voltaggio

Michael Voltaggio of Top Chef fame surprised L.A. foodies last week with the introduction of a new restaurant sandwich counter adjacent to his yet-to-open, much-anticipated restaurant, ink.

ink.sack has a limited menu, a few bar-height tables, no chairs and room for only about 10 people at a time. According to Zagat, "Its menu is printed on three-hole notebook paper, and features seven bite-sized sandwiches – just four inches by two inches – priced between $4–$6."

Judging by the action on Twitter, the tiny sammies are selling like hotcakes and locals can't get enough.
